Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend~ we are looking forward to fall, so we hung the fall wreath on the door already! What the heck. The pool and swimming holes are closed, and last night it was 55 degrees.


I grew sunflowers this year for the first time - this must be where the story Jack and The Beanstalk comes from - they grow while you watch! They are really crazy flowers! So here's a couple pics of the big one.

Hi everyone !! I finally think I figured out how to use this. So i had a little break from work and now im going back. I was gonna put up a recent picture but I dont have one on the computer soo i'm gonna try to put one up incase nobody saw pictures from kaylas sweet 16 and that's my wonderful boyfriend of almost 2years which will be in august !!! Also, I got a tattoo that my daddy hasnt even seen yet but he knows about soo i'll try to post that too. Otherwise I gotta go back to work now. Love you all. <3

FYI

Wanted to let everyone know that we are all going to be heading down to Disney World on October 3rd and spending the weekend there. Anyone who would like to join us is very welcome! We will be staying at one of the Disney properties Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings then flying home on Monday. We have already received confirmation that Barb's sister and brother-in-law (Linda and Carl) will be joining us with their grandkids. Let us know if any of the rest of you would like to hang out with us during that time.

Just stuff

Hey everybody - well summer has officially kicked off: 90 degrees today for Jamie's last day of first grade. Where does the time go? Seems like she just started Kindergarten a short time ago. She's going for swimming lessons at the Crozet pool in two weeks, then vacation bible school, then Crozet park camp. Matthew will go MWF starting in about a week. No plans for summer vacation, other than maybe camping for the weekend. I'm almost done painting the kitchen and it looks great. We're about to get some severe weather in about an hour, so I'll be off for now................hope everyone out there is doing well.

Hopefully, have finally gotten the hang of this. Still doing my thing, cards weekly and running out with the ladies for lunch at least once a month. Getting hot now. Talked with Linda, she is really trying. somehow I know all will be okay.

Visitors Coming!

I'm glad to say that both Kristen and Kayla will be up here visiting at the end of June. I'm looking forward to spending my birthday with all my kids this year.

Camel time in Jordan

The camel lost

Here I am in Jordan after a long camel ride. My camel was supposed to plod thru a beautiful gorge but was distracted by the single tree in the desert area. He made a severe left turn for it and I almost lost my camel! What fun.

Hi all! Here are the 2 newest members of the family. Chase DeMarco, born 4/11/08 son of Christopher and Dana DeMarco. I hear he has the 411.

And the second little guy is Andrew Avila son of Omar and Alissa Avila.

We have a few special birthdays coming up - Dad & Aunt Janet - on May 8th will be 72 years young! Wooh Hoo! Happy Birthday!

Also we have Marian "Mom-moms" Riley coming up May 5th - at 83 years young! Cheers to you Mom-moms! Mom-mom's became a great grandmother last year to a beautiful baby girl appropriately named Riley.
